Charter of Crowns
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Tulp Entertainment, the studio that makes Charter of Crowns, wants everyone to be able to use this website (charterofcrowns.com), including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we have done to make the website accessible and how to reach us if something does not work for you.
The standard we follow
The website is designed to meet Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA - the standard named in the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. IS 5568 is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0; we build to the newer WCAG 2.1 at level AA, which includes every WCAG 2.0 level AA requirement.
The accessibility menu
The round button at the bottom left of every page opens a menu where you can make the text larger, switch to high contrast, underline all links, use a plain font in place of the decorative one, widen the spacing of the text, and stop all animations. Your choice is remembered in your browser only and can be reset at any time.
What we have done
- Every part of the website works with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline, and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- Pages use a clear structure of headings, lists and landmarks, and the language of each page is declared, so screen readers can read them in order.
- Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and controls have sufficient colour contrast, and no information is given by colour alone.
- The layout adapts to phones, tablets and large screens, and to browser zoom of up to 400% without content being lost.
- Nothing on the pages moves, blinks or plays sound on its own. If your device asks for reduced motion, the scrolling and fade effects are turned off.
- The newsletter form has a label, explains what happens next, and announces success or errors to screen readers.
- Links that open in a new tab (our pages on YouTube, Discord, X and Reddit) say so to screen readers.
- The trailer window and the accessibility menu keep the keyboard inside them while they are open, close with the Escape key and return focus to where you were.
- Short notices (such as "coming soon") stay on screen for 10 seconds and close with the Escape key or a click.
- The nations' emblems work as tabs: the arrow keys move between nations and each one's panel opens with it.
Known limitations
- Videos are played from YouTube. When a trailer is published, we will provide captions for its spoken words.
- Pages on other services that we link to (YouTube, Discord, X, Reddit, and Brevo for the newsletter) are run by those services and follow their own accessibility policies.
- This statement covers this website. It does not cover the game itself.
We checked the website ourselves, with a keyboard, in current browsers, at screen widths from small phones to wide desktop monitors, and with automated accessibility testing. If you find a part we missed, please tell us.
This statement was last reviewed on 4 November 2026. We believe the website meets level AA apart from the limitations listed above; it has not yet been audited by an outside expert.
Physical accessibility
The studio has no offices or service points open to the public. All of our service is given online and by email.
